As the New Year begins, Defenders of
the Faith has a lot to be thankful for over the last year because of your
support. Our expenses for the year were $12,272.91 and our revenue was $12,722.
Pretty close, but we are still in the black. We are most appreciative of those
donors who live outside of our broadcast area and still provide a sizable
percentage of our donations. They know the value of the service we are providing
both in print and over the air.
Also, of course, if it were not for
our officers, listed here, we would not be on the air no matter what our
financial situation. We have no
employees. All of the work is accomplished by volunteers and some of their
effort is even at the expense of the volunteer. Please keep them in your
There is still no progress on the
decision for installing a satellite dish. This decision by the county will not
be made until Spring. Pat Crosby has made some progress in determining where and
when we can purchase the dish and he is also investigating the quality of the
ductwork under the street.
